No VC. No equity dilution. Growth funded by founder fees and the built-in swap mechanism. Adoption sized to the actual BCH network — every number anchored to real on-chain activity, not aspiration.
The temptation in any wallet pitch is to anchor to "560M crypto users globally". The honest anchor is the only one that matters for Deviant in year one: the ~100K people in the BCH Reddit community and adjacent Twitter / Telegram / Flipstarter networks. Daily active addresses of ~18K is the closer-to-the-truth number. Of those, only a fraction are humans (much is bots, automated services, exchanges).
This is not a weakness. It's a focusing constraint. A wallet that captures 20% of the BCH community is 20,000 MAU — and at scenario revenue ratios, that's enough to sustain a small team indefinitely without ever raising a dollar.

The 18-month gap between launch and cash-flow positive is the real challenge. The team needs ~$144K total to survive Phase 1 + Phase 2 at lean rates ($8K × 18 months). This is the actual fundraising target — and it's small enough to be raised via a Flipstarter campaign in the BCH community, not a VC round.
Cashonize raised ~$35K via Flipstarter and survived on it. A more ambitious $80–150K Flipstarter — framed as "fund the canonical CashToken wallet" — is achievable and would zero out the gap. BCH community capital, not Silicon Valley capital.
The model assumes community-led acquisition is non-negotiable through Phase 2. No paid ads. No influencer deals. No exchange partnerships. The brand of being community-funded and community-marketed is the marketing — and it's free.
