Parameters / FIATm
Design-record artefacts for the FIATm family — sound-money notes for state currencies,
on-chain, backed by base-layer BCH. m = MBA. USDm is the worked example; EURm, GBPm, JPYm,
INRm, ARSm, TRYm are the other six chipnet-validated instances on the same
DeviantOracleMBA template (snapshots 0136 USDm / 0137 EURm + cross-asset / 0138 6-asset
market / 0144 GBPm+JPYm+INRm + merchant POS / 0160 ARSm+TRYm).

fiatm_synthesis_FOR-reading-first.md |
Single-source FIATm overview — start here. Self-contained synthesis pulling the design record, the catalytic-converter hypothesis, the wallet-UI architectural naming, and the structural elaborations developed through snapshot 0163 into one reader-first document. ~700 lines. Cross-references the canonical sources rather than duplicating them. Written for a technically-engaged reader who wants the full picture in one pass. |
fiatm-sovereign-asset.md |
NEW (2026-06-20) — sovereign-asset design record. Sharpened framings not previously canonical: asset taxonomy (sovereign-native MBA vs trusted / cross-chain IOU, identity / backing-location / failure-mode table); gold-certificate-collapse-inverted thesis (broken fiat = "former certificate with scarce backing stripped, floating paper remained"; FIATμ = injecting scarce backing under the floating fiat face); reverse-lock (in FIATμ the scarce asset is what's locked, the fiat is only the projected face label — opposite of the gold-certificate convention); "unstablecoin" framing with three-honest-outcomes table (spend / save-and-grow / save-through-dip); §5 reflexive volatility properties (backing demand suppresses own volatility as it scales; basket diversification; stablecoins as a tailwind not competitor); §6 controller-simultaneity canonical statement ("single objective, both directions — maximize fairness/attractiveness of minting in, in every regime, while never touching the fixed redemption floor"). Complements rather than supersedes fiatm_complete-design_FOR-design-record.md. |
fiatm_complete-design_FOR-design-record.md |
The canonical FIATm design record. Family intro (§0.5), three-values / Greek-coinage framing (§7a), Artemision lineage / art-of-emission / universal-substrate / why-the-lag-exists (§7a.1), 180° reversal (§7), holder experience + global scale + lag-as-opportunity (§7b), magical reversal + institutional-action asymmetry (§8 / §8.1), five-layer §12 controller, oracle integrity stack (§14) + composed-oracle for non-USD FIATm (§14a), TVL / governance / maturity ladder, implementation status, calibration program (§22), historical back-test §20a, BCH/USD volatility appendix B. Renamed from usdm_… to fiatm_… in snapshot 0155. |
usdm_sound-money-note_FOR-design-record.md |
The original USDm-only conceptual note. Absorbed by the FIATm record above; retained as a historical artefact for the early framing. |
usdm-and-market_diagram-report.html |
USDm / market-integration diagram report (HTML render). |
catalytic-converter-hypothesis_FOR-testing.md |
HYPOTHESIS-STAGE (NOT yet a canonical design claim). Conjecture that the §12 rate-correction lag functions as a catalytic converter for speculative noise — absorbing synthetic-market volatility while arbitrage closes the gap with real BCH settlement. Testable predictions named; sim infrastructure path written. Promoted to a §12e or ADR only if simulation confirms. |

Untracked by git (.gitignore excludes the path). Verbatim session logs + companion narrative for the design lineage. Files: 2026-05-27_session_usdm-family-and-controller.jsonl (raw 4.2 MB verbatim, 1,553 records, the original "stablecoin-mechanism / USDm-family-and-controller" session); design-journey.md (narrative — why and how decisions were made); framings-and-rejected-paths.md (quick-ref — pithy phrasings + rejected-path register + voice notes). Kept on disk, never committed (logs, not source). |

Both files in this folder reference each other and the diagram report by bare filename (sibling references) — moving them to or from this folder requires no path edits as long as they stay siblings.
Naming convention reminder
Every fiat-backed FIATm instance carries an m suffix. Current: USDm / EURm / GBPm / JPYm /
INRm / ARSm / TRYm. Future: any state currency on the same template (VESm / ZWLm / NGNm /
EGPm / PKRm / IRRm / LBPm / … — VESm and ZWLm specifically need a piecewise sim treatment
for the redenominations during the window, deferred per snapshot 0159).
