dafc3b23b7 Release pages: Theseus 0.3.103
- Sidebar panel context menu (Copy image + Save as + link menu +
  back/forward/reload). Fixes a long-standing gap where WhatsApp Web
  and other sites that intercept right-click left users with no way
  to copy an image from the sidebar panel.
- Hermes mark in the sidebar strip tightens its viewBox so the V-fold
  and wings fill the icon instead of sitting in whitespace.

8d5304e450 releases: keep recent only, generate the page from the manifest; Hermes page catches up
The releases manifest had grown to 63 entries (every Theseus build back to
0.3.59) and the hand-edited page had drifted: Android was two versions
behind and Pithos was never listed. scripts/releases-page.mjs now trims the
manifest to recent versions per product (5 Theseus, 2 others) and rewrites
the page's release blocks from it. Consumers read only the first entry per
product, so nothing they see changes; older builds stay on Sia.

The Hermes subpage still said "designed, not built" and "MVP · desktop".
It now reflects what shipped: web messenger at hermes.x/messenger, three
sign-in paths incl. Theseus ID, three handle spellings, Nostr profiles,
vCard import, opt-in phone discovery, Ariadne's menu entry, and the planned
free sub-identity + Hermes TLDs (mainnet) as designed items.

paths. It was missed for `site/` from 0.3.4 through 0.3.16 (found 2026-09-07):
the HTML pages were current while the JSON next to them still said 0.3.3.
**Keep it short, and generate the page from it.** Since 2026-10-22 the
manifest holds only recent versions (5 Theseus, 2 of everything else; the
policy table is in `scripts/releases-page.mjs`) and `releases/index.html`'s
release blocks are generated from it. After adding a release to the manifest:
```
node scripts/releases-page.mjs # trims the manifest, rewrites the blocks
```
then scp `releases/index.html` + the manifest (both VPS paths). Do not hand-
edit the blocks; the next run overwrites them. Consumers (Theseus + Ariadne
updaters, `dl-latest.sh`) read only the first entry per product id, so
trimming never changes what they see. Older builds live on Sia under
`dl-archive/` and every old checksum is in git history.
## Old Theseus builds fill the VPS disk
`scripts/theseus-vps-archive.sh <version>` moves everything older than N-1 to

Default RPC is publicnode's free Ethereum endpoint, default gateway is ipfs.io; both are user-overridable in Advanced. Swarm-hosted ENS names cache a \"not yet supported\" result for a minute until we add a swarm-gateway option.",

"changes": "Previous tabs reopen reliably — Clear history on quit no longer wipes the session file, so a profile with that setting on no longer launches to a single home page. Extensions start when first used instead of every launch — Aegis + Pithos + the rest skip their boot work until a tab actually opens them, cutting cold-start CPU and RAM. Language picker becomes a modern floating overlay instead of the native Windows menu: rounded surface, acid accents on the current pin, 'Translate this page from X to Y' at the top when the page can be translated, 'Show original (<src>)' when a translation is up; the top strip holds only the languages the translator actually handles today (en, es, fr, de, el, ru) and the rest collapse into a 'More languages (translator coming later)' group that expands on click. Translator picks up language changes reliably — a page with no <html lang> no longer silently skips translation (backend auto-detects), and changing the language pin always re-translates the active tab even if auto-offer is off (the user asking for a new language IS the request to translate what they're looking at). Pithos 0.3.4 bundled: a built-in control panel for s3d, the Sia S3 gateway, with Sia-account labels, switching and restore. Aegis 0.30.0 bundled: dapp-bridge audit fixes + a WizardConnect signing path + DigiByte addresses that follow the chosen address family. Ariadne's Thread panel in Settings now carries Refresh / Install / Update right in the Status row.",

"changes": "Tab switcher redesigned. The tab menu is now a full-screen grid of tab cards — favicon, host and title on each card, gold accent on the active one, close x on every card, tap to switch. Long-press for close / close-others / duplicate. + New tab tile always visible at the end. The old debug-menu style AlertDialog is gone. Tab-count button in the address row is squarer and switches to gold as soon as a second tab opens, so the switcher is discoverable at a glance. Same signing key; installs over 0.21.",
"changes": "Luna + Minego chrome rework. Top address row is now back / forward / address / tabs / resolver chip; the hamburger moved to the bottom bar as Settings and the reload button is retired in favour of swipe-down pull-to-refresh. Bottom nav is four Luna icons: Ask AI (opens the picked engine, long-press to switch), Save (adds the current page as a tile to the start page's SAVED section, second tap unsaves), New tab (long-press navigates the current tab home), Settings (long-press reaches the legacy overflow menu). Me / Theseus ID is the first row inside Settings. Minego homepage polished: 4-column 52px tiles, SAVED tile row with deterministic per-host colour, QUICK ACTIONS section removed. New default wallpaper: dark navy radial with a low-opacity gold meander watermark. Pinned-TLS path for ip+tls BNS names (Prometheus.X, Hephaestus.X, Theseus.X, Sirius.X): the leaf cert's SHA-256 is now verified against the on-chain `tls` hash before serving content, matching the Argus pinned-origin proxy on desktop; names that only published `ip`+`tls` records can finally open on mobile. Same signing key; installs over 0.24.",

"changes": "Engine: Electron 44 / Chromium 152 (from 130) — a year-old engine had become a bot signal (DataDome-fronted shops served a block page), and the identity Theseus presents is now consistent on both sides (client-hint brands computed like Chromium, matching navigator.userAgentData, well-formed Accept-Language). Extensions: anyone who holds a BCDN name can publish an extension from theseus.x/extensions; Settings › Extensions › Community lists the catalog and installs with the publisher's signature verified against the name's owner in Theseus's own index. Settings › Plug-ins and › Extensions link to the new theseus.x/plug-ins and /extensions pages. Tabs: the tab strip lives in the title bar (Windows), a tab opened from a link lands next to its opener, the selected tab has an accent, the strip no longer blinks when another tab loads, the address bar follows the page even after you clicked into it, and holding or right-clicking Back/Forward lists the history. Also: HTTP sign-in prompt for sites behind Basic/Digest auth instead of a bare 401; local paths and file:// URLs open from the address bar; owner-signed DNS records (A/AAAA/MX/TXT via /api/dns) are fetched alongside on-chain records; the Ariadne's Thread card finds the installed resolver and answers in about 2 s. Includes everything from 0.3.47 and 0.3.48.",

The cold-start snapshot it pulls from the CDN is now refreshed every ten minutes from the gateway's index instead of by hand, so a fresh install sees names registered minutes ago rather than weeks. <div class="meta">Android 5.0+ (API 21) · self-signed release key · 2026-10-22 · Icons polish: the Unicode glyphs in the top row and bottom nav are replaced with real vector drawables — shield, arrows, chat-question, bookmark, plus, hamburger — so what shipped in 0.25 actually matches the mockup across font stacks. The resolver chip is now a shield that tints gold when the system-wide resolver is on and mutes when off. The save button swaps between an outline bookmark+ and a filled gold bookmark to reflect whether the current page is saved. The horizontal tab strip above the address bar is retired: the tab-count button and a vertical, full-screen tab switcher are now the only tab chrome. The switcher is rewritten Honor-style — a single-column list of large cards with a page thumbnail (captured on switch-away), title, host, and a Saved badge for bookmarked pages. <div class="meta">Android 5.0+ (API 21) · self-signed release key · 2026-10-22 · Luna + Minego chrome rework.
