Drop it as a visible option: the display-mode picker now offers bare / dotted / email and defaults to bare so users just see "alice" in chat lists and settings. The hermes: URI scheme stays available as an input form (parseHandle still accepts it) — just not surfaced in the UI. New sign-in path: a "Sign in with name + password" button on the signin screen opens a two-field form that calls getBackup({password}) to unwrap the locally-saved mnemonic, then init({mnemonic, handle}) in one shot. This covers the "come back to the same device" case without typing the full seed every time. From a new device the seed phrase path is still there — the form hint says so.
